Lititz Elementary Lions R.O.A.R with pride!
ROAR = Responsible, Only Kind, Always Safe, Respectful
May brings Teacher Appreciation Week...one of my favorite weeks of the year. Please take a moment to send a note to your child's teacher telling them a way they have made a difference for your child this year. We truly have great teachers and staff at LE!
-Jenna Louderback, principal
Please review out dress guidelines here: We encourage students to wear sensible and appropriate clothes to school. Please ensure that your child is appropriately dressed for the current weather conditions as they will participate in regularly planned outdoor activities. The principal, school nurse, or classroom teacher will contact a parent/guardian if a child is sent to school in what is judged to be inappropriate dress. Inappropriate dress is defined as apparel that is disruptive to the educational process and/or causes a safety concern. Hats, flip flops or sandals without a back, spaghetti strap tops, skirts/shorts less than fingertip length or clothing that references drug, alcohol, or offensive language are not permitted to be worn in the building. Shirts must meet the top of the waistband. Heely sneakers with wheels are not permitted at school. If wearing to school, wheels should be removed for safety reasons.

In music class this month we are all about movement. Students will be dancing, singing and playing various instruments but we will focus primarily on how we can use our bodies to represent the sounds we hear. Students will participate in folk dances from all different time periods, and many different cultures. We will also do lummi stick activities, scarf dances and use all of these activities as an opportunity to explore and express dynamics and form in music.
Mrs. Sell is still missing many dental and physical exam forms and the end of the school year is rapidly approaching!
Kindergarten and 3rd graders: Dental exams completed during the 25/26 school year must be turned in by the end of the year.
Kindergarten and 6th graders: Physical exams completed during the 25/26 school year must be turned in by the end of the year.
If you have an upcoming appointment scheduled, please notify Mrs. Sell so she can document this in your child’s chart. If you aren’t sure whether you turned something in, please check with Mrs. Sell.
Congratulations to our Safety Patrols of the Month. Thank you for leading by example and offering a helping hand!
