Happy New Year to you all! I hope that you all enjoyed the winter break and were able to do something you enjoyed together. It is so great to see everyone back and falling into routines again. Please see all of the great things happening below and reach out if we can support your child in any way.

Students are beginning projects for the New Year! Students will focus on painting techniques, learning about new artists and textiles.
Music
Music
In music class we are wrapping up our unit on pitch and musical notation. Students have been learning about the musical staff and the placement of notes and solfege syllables on the treble clef staff. When we return from winter break we will begin our study of musical instruments. We will be reading and interacting with books, learning about instrument families and learning about instruments from all over the world.

A gentle reminder about required dental exams, physical exams, and immunizations:
Please remember to submit signed dental forms for Kindergarten and 3rd graders by the end of the school year!
Please remember to submit signed physical exam forms for Kindergarten and 6th graders by the end of the school year!
Please have 6th grade immunizations updated prior to the first day of 7th grade. These include the Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis (Tdap), as well as Meningococcal vaccines.
