ROAR = Responsible, Only Kind, Always Safe, Respectful
Dear Families and Community,
It is wonderful to see the sun again and watch our students trade their heavy coats for light jackets!
What’s Blooming This Month
As we head into the final stretch of the school year, we have a busy calendar ahead. Here is what you should keep on your radar:
State Testing: Our older students will be showing off what they know later this month. We focus on a "low-stress, high-effort" environment. Plenty of sleep and a good breakfast go a long way!
Field trips, School Musical, Arbor Day....so much to look forward to!
A Quick Reminder
With the fluctuating temperatures, please ensure your child’s name is written on their sweatshirts and light jackets. Our Lost and Found is currently growing faster than the grass outside!
Thank you for your continued partnership. Whether it’s volunteering for a field trip or checking those folders every night, your support is what makes our school community so vibrant.
Let's make it a great April!
Warmly,
Jenna Louderback, principal

Calling All Young Entrepreneurs!
The National Business Honors Society is seeking student vendors for the upcoming Junior Entrepreneur Fair, which will be held on Thursday, May 14, at Warwick Middle School.
Students in grades K–8 are invited to create, price, and sell their own products while gaining real-world business experience and connecting with local entrepreneurs. This is a wonderful opportunity to encourage creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship at a young age!
The cost to participate is $5 to register and reserve a table.
Registration is open now through Friday, April 24:

We look forward to seeing our students’ ideas come to life!
Spring has sprung! We are finally getting a taste of warmer weather. The trees and shrubs are blossoming and blooming, and while it’s a beautiful and energetic time of year, children with seasonal allergies really struggle to get through the school day. If your child is prone to itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing, congestion, or asthma-like symptoms each spring, please be proactive by providing over-the-counter allergy meds before school each morning.
You might not realize this, but school nurses may not give any allergy medication, except for Benadryl in emergency situations, unless we have a specific doctor’s order for your child. The same goes for cough and cold medicine. Even though these are over-the-counter medications, we are not permitted to give them in the school setting WITHOUT A DOCTOR'S ORDER.
Here are some additional tips for minimizing allergy symptoms for your child:
Frequent hand washing after playing outside, so the child doesn’t rub pollen near eyes or nose.
Limit outdoor activities when pollen counts are high.
Dry laundry in the dryer, don’t hang it outside to dry.
Have your child take a bath or shower at bedtime to reduce night time allergies that might hinder their sleep quality.
Keep windows in your home and car closed, and use air conditioning to filter the air. Make sure the air conditioner is on re-circulating mode.

As always, don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Sell with any questions or concerns!
This month in music we are focused on form and expression in music. We will learn about binary (AB), ternary (ABA), call and response, verse, chorus, bridge and more. We will discuss how contrast plays an important role in form and expression especially when it comes to characteristics such as dynamics, timbre and texture. Students will use their body to show form of music and experiment with composing their own music using form as a guideline.
We are working on many different pieces and focusing on multimedia art. Thank you for supporting the District Wide Art Show!
