I grew up in Hopkinsville, KY and moved to Bowling Green in 1996 to attend Western Kentucky University. Go Tops!
I graduated from WKU in 2002 with a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders. I worked in a hospital setting for four years following graduation, helping people ages birth to 90+ during that time. I soon discovered I loved working with children and decided to begin a new career in the schools. I was employed by Warren County Public Schools in 2006. I enjoy helping students meet their speech and language goals and have developed a passion for growing students' literacy skills. I love working with my students each day and seeing them progress and grow through the years!
I enjoy spending time with friends and family, creating, and being in the sunshine. ☀️ I love Jesus and am thankful for the many blessings He has given me! I am married and have three beautiful boys. My boys have helped fill my life with fun, NOISE, adventure, and SPORTS!
HearBuilder is an amazing option for supplemental language instruction in the classroom and at home. You can access the programs on your computer or tablet. JRES has a site license for HearBuilder, so your student already has a username and password! Contact your child's teacher for that information.
