Response to Intervention, also referred to as RtI, is a system developed to connect general, compensatory, gifted, and special education in providing high quality based instruction and intervention matched to students’ academic, social-emotional and behavioral needs. Warren County Speech Language Pathologists have developed procedures for specific communication areas.
Students may be screened based on set criteria. Parental consent will be obtained before completing the screening. If difficulties are noted, the parent will be notified that their child is entering the RtI process and the regular education teacher will be addressing these areas of concern in the regular classroom with our support.
We are here to assist you and your child in having a successful school experience.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your school's SLP.
