Meet the Nurses

Hello!

I am a Registered Nurse, licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing. I am the school nurse at the Elementary Campus. 

I have been a nurse for 19 years. My past nursing experience includes 10 years as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse at San Angelo Community Medical Center. I have also worked as a Pediatric Home Health Case Manager. There I helped manage the care and health needs of special needs children in their homes. Most recently I have been a school nurse at Wall on a part time basis before taking on a full time role. 

I am a high school graduate of Wall ISD. I went on to complete my nursing prerequisites and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

My husband Shane is a CPA in San Angelo and together we have 4 children. 

I have always had a heart for children. As a school nurse I am here help keep kids healthy, safe and ready to learn! I enjoy teaching our kids how to care for their bodies and to stay well so they can be their best. I believe students must be educated to be healthy and healthy to be educated.
