Course Overview: This comprehensive course offers an in-depth exploration of History, Geography, and Economics, with a strong emphasis on Global Geography and advanced History research skills. Our curriculum is designed to provide students with a sound foundation for NCEA Level 1.
In Global Geography, students will be introduced to Digital Geographic Information Systems (GIS), an essential tool for modern geographers. This technology helps students analyse spatial data, understand complex geographic patterns, and develop critical thinking skills. Our geography lessons go beyond traditional maps and atlases, offering students hands-on experience with digital mapping and spatial analysis.
In History, we focus on developing robust research skills. Students will learn how to source, evaluate, and interpret historical evidence, preparing them for more advanced studies.
