Course Description:  Students with strong academic skills and enrolled in upper level core courses undergo training in the inquiry method to assist other students in understanding the course content of their core classes.  Students will assist the teacher in reviewing study skill activities by students enrolled in the AVID Program.

Course Description:  Students with bilingual ability and a solid understanding of the content taught in the required classes are assigned to a class in which they provide supplemental assistance to limited English speaking students. Tutors provide individualized and small group instruction in the primary language of the student receiving tutoring.

Course Description: Students are assigned to an elementary or middle school site and assist with a variety of activities, depending upon the placement.  Typical duties include: classroom tutoring, playground supervision, office assistance, and assisting the teacher with record keeping, clean up, and distributing and collecting material.
