Since 1998, ProYouth has provided HEART (Health, Enrichment, Academics, Recreation, Teamwork) Expanded Learning Programs for Visalia Unified elementary school students. HEART is a state-funded expanded learning program through the After School Education and Safety (ASES) Grant and provides comprehensive, high quality academic and enrichment programs at no cost to students and parents. VUSD is proud to partner with ProYouth to offer the HEART Program to our students and looks forward to many years of expanded learning opportunities during the after school hours to support our student learning and growth.

HEART offers students health and wellness, sports and recreation opportunities to engage in during the after school hours of 2:30pm to 6:00pm.
