Maryam A. Andalib is a Ph.D. candidate in the Grado Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering (ISE) at Virginia Tech. After graduating from NODET, national selective schools, Maryam received her bachelor’s degree from Sharif University of Technology in 2012 and her masters from Virginia Tech in 2013. In her dissertation, she applies system dynamics modeling, data analytics, and linear programming methods to the problem of diversity in higher education.
