In this second Heerbeeck week, we are going to make a class blog about the theme Sound & Vision. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you take part in various activities inside and outside school in which the theme Sound & Vision recurs. You will record these experiences in your own digital class newspaper: a blog! On Thursday afternoon, you will present the final product, the class blog, to your classmates.
In the blog, you describe your experiences as a journalist at a digital newspaper. There are multiple activities that you will take part in on Tuesday and Wednesday. That is why we divide the class into groups. Each group works on a page of your blog. In the workshop on Monday, you will be told what a good blog requires, how you should create it, and what should be included. Lots of fun!
The six experiences you will have this week: Take a look at the link to the theme Sound & Vision so that you understand why you are going to experience these activities.
The practical tips. All workshop leaders will refer back to this to ensure we have a unified vision. With your coach, you will mainly focus on number 6: "Use everyone's strengths."
The rubric about collaboration. You will work on this after creating the blog about yourself on Thursday. You also fill it in for two students in your group.
The rubric about the blog. This focuses on the overall class blog. You will fill it in for your own page within the class blog and for two other pages.
