Pharrell's "Happy" in ASL by Deaf Film Camp at CM7
Dutch dance event
Make a short film where you introduce yourself to your classmates. This video will be featured in your class blogs.
Watch the film up to 1:56: My name is.....
Work in pairs, or if necessary, with three people.
Go to this website: Lerengebaren.nl - Gebarentaal oefenen
There, you will find the memory game with 4 levels.
In the game, there are videos where a person signs something, and there are images. You need to match the correct image to the correct sign.
Start with level 1 and progress up to level 4.
When you reach level 4, inform your teacher and move on to assignment 3.
Search for the sign of a word on your laptop and learn the sign.
Sign this word for your group.
They need to guess which word you are signing.
If the word is correct, another person in your group will sign their word.
You can use the mini sign language dictionary:

This girl teaches you ASL in a calm way with different mnemonics (extra information to help you remember something better).
ASL is much more similar to NGT. In particular, the alphabet (finger-spelling) is more alike. BSL has an alphabet where two hands are used for each letter. With ASL and NGT, one hand is used per letter. So, by learning ASL, you can also communicate reasonably well with deaf people in the Netherlands.
ASL: American sign language
BSL: British sign language
NGT: Dutch sign language
