Data Science Hackathon is organised in collaboration with Temasek Polytechnic. Over the course of three days, participants will have a teste of the job of a data analyst. They will first be equipped with basic statistical skills that are often used in data analysis and then they will work on a real-life data set to identify some meaningful conclusions by applying critical and inventive thinking. 

During the hackathon, participants will receive mentorship from both TP and Victoria Junior College students, who will guide them through the analysis and evaluation stages.  By leveraging technology and computational thinking, participants will develop not only their technical skill, but also their problem-solving abilities and teamwork capabilities.

Target Group:

The programme is open to all Upper Secondary students.

Date: 17 March, 18 March and 20 March 2025

Time: 8.30 am to 4 pm

Venue: VJC (on 17 March and 18 March) and TP (on 20 March)
