April Garden Meet-Up
🌻April Garden Meet-Up: Thanks to the families who supported our April Garden Meet-Up. A special shout-out to Mrs. Greenlee (VVA Counselor) and Tessa Neilsen (VVA High School Student), who facilitated the gardening activities. Students checked on their tomato plants and harvested herbs. They also participated in a mindfulness activity to alleviate stress, which included decorating worry boxes. A special thanks to Nini T. and her family for providing cookies and homemade strawberry lemonade as a snack.

Learning Coach Support
How Can I Help My Student With
Online Learning?
During online instruction, each student will need the support of a Learning Coach, typically the parent or guardian, who is present while the student is working at home. As students progress in their success with online learning there is an increase in independence.
The role of the Learning Coach includes but is not limited to:
Provide a quiet and organized space for online learning.
Guide the student through the lessons, tools, and games as needed.
Oversee assignments and help facilitate hands-on learning.
Check for understanding and discuss concepts being taught.
Keep the student on schedule and on pace.
Ensure all components are done with fidelity.
Communicate with the teacher as needed.
Celebrate success🎉
