Project 1

Write-up!

In this project we created a self-portrait of our self using recycled materials like in the picture. Before i even begin i had to brainstorm my ideas so i can make it, so i took inspiration from a game that i like which is Wii games and from there i had my plan. Then after i got an art block so i had to incubate my ideas, from there i got an idea to create my base so that later on i can add the hair and face. After a few days i made a beta version, i showed it to my family and they told me to add glasses and headphones to express myself more, so after a few back and forwards i decided to change my head base and added glasses and headphones. From there my perfect little mii is created.

Project 2

Hat

-Strengths: Very etherial like, usefull with back protection.

-I feel like i like this one because of the etherial peacock look, it is also good by the back net protecting the neck

Necklace

-Strengths: Big statement peice, bold.

-I loved this one because of its simple yet bold desgin that i made. I liked the peacock the most here and i think thats whats good about it because of its simple yet eye catching apearence.

Ear ring

-Strengths: Bold, eye catching.

-This art work might be hidden behind hair but because of its big and outstading apearence which is the strength of this artwork. I think the way i assorted them was very good and beautiful and the charms are just what i liked most about it. Its good because it is simple and bold like the hat and necklace.

IMPROVEMENTS

I think this artwork needs more improvements of the concept drawing needing to be more clear. But i did find obe thing i did improve was the idea and how i made an necklace out of it but i think if i can i would make the design be less simple.

IDEAS

Through out this project i had to change the artwork alot because of my new understanding that art can be special by its apearence and storry behind it. So i learned new ideas of creating artworks that are simple yet can hold many detail.

WORK ETHICS

In this artwork i started to work on it early and made it supper detailed. My calm and patient aditude had help me made my artwork with more care an my behavior had help me made it more detailed. And when i faced problems i reached out for help by my perants, friends, teachers.

UGLY STAGE

I faced the ugly stage with a lot of pressure because of my tight schedule too, but i used it as insperation for my final artwork. Facing this stage is important because it is like a reminder to change or fix it and it can make an artwork very better.

PROBLEMS

In this project i had to make decisions and i usally draw my ideas down first then finnaly chosse a one i like and not throw my old sketches so i can finnaly have a result i like. Because of that i think art creation is kinna like problem solving because you have to make decisions that can have a husge affect on the artwork.
