Math as a subject, for me, it annoying me a lot especially learn by using English, but it always gives me a sense of achievement when I figure out that how it works, and how I can solve it. I don't really like mathematics, because it's not my best subject and bored me all the time, but I like those parts I can handle, it's actually fun for me in those easy, and parts I know. My mathematics improved indeed, no matter in solving parts, and now I can do many things without asking others, or teacher helps. I do like my math class, Mr. Francis notice many things, and our reactions to each projects, worksheets, games, and his plans, so he keep improving and changing his math class style, and now I feel like math class isn't that bad, we will definitely have work to do, but I know teacher will add some space for us to play and relax after working hard. I feel a little bit of afraid for next semester's math class, because I'll turn into 9th Grader next semester, which means I'm going to high school, so it'll be harder, but I'll do my best! Lastly, my goals for math class, these goals are simple by the way, 1. I want to understand well on every mathematics vocabulary. 2. I want to solve questions faster than last semester. 3. I want to be the one who others will ask me question how to solve.
1. How do you feel you did on the quiz?
2. Was the quiz too hard or too easy? why?
3. Did you feel prepared for the quiz?
4. Before this semester would you be able to do this level of algebra quiz? Did you get better or worse at algebra?
5. What were somethings you did to prepare for the quiz?
6. What were some things you wish you did differerntly to prepare for the quiz?
7. What topic did you think was harder for you? Did it come on the quiz? were you able to do it?
8. What topic did you feel was easy for you? Did it come on the quiz? were you able to do it?
I think I did well enough for the quiz, most of the pages I can handle them, but I feel that the quiz is not hard, but the last two pages are difficult, which is the graph and x, y, m, k, and slope parts. I didn't fully understand those knowlegde yet, so I should pratice more on these parts. Talk about prepared feelings, I did prepared enough on the most of the parts, but for the graph part is not well prepared indeed, I expect my brain too high for today, so this part really knocked me out.
Project 1 was a 1 week crash course of learning how to write code. The goal is to introduced student so basic program and allow them to expression themselves by creating their own program
1. What did you find most difficult when learning to write JavaScript code.
2. Have you learning other programming languages or coding before? if so which command or function do you find the most useful? If you have never learned programming before what new programming function did you think was the most interesting?
3. Would you like to continue learning programming? would you want VIS to have an IT(information technology) class or programming class?
4. Do you think one week is enough time to learning enough code to write to your program or would you like 2 or 3 weeks.
5. Did you ever get that feeling of your program not working, struggling to fix it and feeling extra happy when if finally works.
The most difficult part of the JavaScript code is
1. How do you feel you did on the quiz? describe in two or more sentences.
2. Was the quiz too hard or too easy? why? Which part in you find easy and which parts did you find hard, explain in two or more sentences.
3. Did you feel prepared for the quiz? What did you do to prepare and how useful was it for the actual quiz?4. If you could go back in time an tell past you one thing or one sentence to get ready, what would it be?
5. In your opinion, did this test cover everything or there something you study for which did not come in the quiz?
About this quiz... I felt terrible for myself, because I can't understand many parts, that makes me can't even try to write something, I was literally mess up with it, but it still has parts that are easy to me
Project 2 was a 3days of converting data in charts and graphs, then calculating central tendency and probability and using it to make decisions. The goal is to introduced students to working with data, making choices about best fitting graph types and working with a team.
1. Was the task easier working with multiple people or would you have wanted to complete this project by yourself? why? If you worked alone was the task too difficult and you wish you had a team or did you like working alone?
2. Did you find it easy or hard to use google sheets to create your graphs and charts? If you use Canva did you find it easier or harder to use, than google sheets also did you get all your points?
3. Were the instructions on the document clear or confusing? What did you find helpful and how did you use it? What was confusing and how did you get correction?
4. What is an idea for a statistics project you would like to do in mathematics class?
After this project, I figure out that I need teammates to help and work with me, so I'll be able to
