Artifact One (Interdisciplinary Assessment Project & Presentation)
Explanation: Interdisciplinary assessment supports effective instruction and helps foster a supportive learning environment by combining multiple subject areas and letting students apply their knowledge in a meaningful way and in real-world situations. This assignment also worked well in promoting communication between different content areas. We all had to rely on one another to effectively teach our parts for a summative assessment which in this case was making a brochure.
Artifact Two (CEP Lesson Plan 2)
Explanation: In this lesson, students engage their creative thinking and problem-solving skills to explore innovative ways an object can be repurposed and transformed into something new. As they examine images of various objects displayed on the board, students collaborate in table groups, sharing and building on each other's ideas for alternative uses. At the end of the activity, students individually write down their own repurposing ideas and reflect on how they could apply outside-the-box thinking to their architecture project.
