Cilantro-Cilantro needs full sun or light shade in southern zones since it bolts quickly in hot weather. It grows best in a well-drained, moist soil. Cilantro plants should be spaced about 6 to 8 inches apart. To harvest fresh cilantro all season, make successive sowings every 2 to 3 weeks starting in late spring.

Basil-a little bit of water,Basil will grow best in a location that gets 6 to 8 hours of full sun daily, though it can perform well in partial sun, too. Soil should be moist but well-drained. Basil works great in containers or raised beds, as these allow for better drainage.

Jalapeno Peppers-Choose a location with full sunlight for growing peppers, as jalapenos LOVE the sun. Mix in some mushroom compost or other organic compost to make the soil fertile and moist. Space the jalapeno pepper plants 14 - 16 inches apart with about 2 -3 feet between rows. The plants will eventually grow to nearly 3 feet high.

Plan- do not put it near the tall 1000 children plant aka the ticking time bomb. Plant them in small pots and place them in a grid, no space in between, and put a lights above the pots, and water daily.
