Hi I'm Yuli

Living and creating in Tel-Aviv,

Designer and developer of new materials with an emphasis on aesthetics and sustainability.

I learn, feel and work with my hands while utilizing the tools available in our technological world.

I graduated from Bezalel Academy in August 2020, in the industrial design department with honors.

Since then I have been creating with the peel of fruits, mainly citrus, as a raw material.

In the process I am attentive to the material in order to conduct a dialogue between the most harmonious aesthetics of nature and design in the world of products and people

This process never ceases to excite me.

O peel

Was created from the desire to connect with natural and local resources, in a sustainable way. Our main working materials are fruit peels, mostly considered to be a waste, next to the juicy parts of the fruit.

At O peel, each project begins with a rich and in-depth research process.

The subsequent production process requires skilled and sensitive handwork.

Some of the work techniques, are uniquely developed to handle the new raw material.

Our most used resource is the citrus peel, which gains a new long life as a main part of the work.

Therefore, we are inspired to celebrate and preserve the unique character of each fruit, and keep it recognizable while bringing out the aesthetics, the textures, and everything about the harmonious creations of nature.

Each of our creations is one of a kind.

The final products go through a conservation process, protecting them from pests and wear.

At last, our creations remain alive and naturally change in colors, textures and aroma.

Among our products, are a variety of containers, jewelry, lighting fixtures and art details.
