The Amity Program

The Amity Program's mission is to increase intergenerational interaction.

Two programs which facilitate this are a pen-pal program and a telephone correspondence program.

The pen-pal program connects students with senior citizens through letter writing. These letters can be more creative and include drawings or are text heavy. Correspondence is ongoing.

The telephone correspondence program connects students with senior citizens through weekly phone calls.
