YouthServe NYC
What is youthserve nyc?
YouthServe NYC was a service initiative founded and run by young people who wanted to become more involved in the work of rebuilding New York City in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis. For three years (2020-2023), YouthServe NYC engaged high school students in service and in social justice.

Service Week:
YouthServe NYC organized a number of in-person events during the week of August 16th-August 20th. Volunteering included:
Meal deliveries with the Stanley Isaacs Center
Volunteering at Green Markets throughout the city with City Harvest
Food Rescue with Rescuing Leftover Cuisine
Virtual Volunteering:
Through the Summer and Fall, YouthServe NYC continued our tutoring program with the Bloomingdale Family Program.
Speaker Series:
YouthServe NYC hosted a weekly speaker series with inspiring civic leaders! As a reminder, all speaker series recordings are on our YouTube Channel as well as here.
Other:
This summer/fall, YouthServe NYC organized a food drive with NY Common Pantry as well as a toy/book drive with the Bloomingdale Family Program!
