Get Out the Vote

The right to vote is one of the most hard-fought for and important rights of American citizens. And, starting at age 18, citizens are allowed to vote. However not everyone who is eligible can vote or does vote.

That is why it is so important to get out the vote. NYC Votes is one of many get out the vote initiatives. This year, NYC Votes has launched a digital grassroots campaign, allowing you to get involved by texting, making phone calls, or sharing on social media.
