Chance Recovery| Ph: 541.224.7839 


Chance Recovery is a non-profit agency working in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties offering support for those who have experienced, or who are experiencing homelessness and addiction. This organization can help with navigating detox and recovery related social services. 1100 SE Jackson St. Albany has a shelter including family rooms and a warming center. Chance has a motel voucher program to house homeless individuals and families on a short term basis.

Albany Helping Hands Shelter is located on 619 9th St. Avenue SE, Albany OR 97322. Intake hours are 8AM-8PM seven days a week. 


Emergency Housing for Youth Ages 10-17| 24 Hour hotline: 800.901.2904


Jackson Street Youth Program is accepting youth ages 10 – 17 into their shelters in Corvallis and Albany. Shelters provide skills coaching and mental health resources.

Creating Housing Coalition is a non-profit organization that strives to offer permanent housing for Albany's unhoused citizens. Community members experiencing homelessness or who are at risk for homelessness can visit their website or call for more information.

Linn-Benton Housing Authority is the governing organization that provides vouchers for housing to low income families in Linn and Benton Counties.

This non-profit organization offers motel vouchers and shelter to individuals and families who are homeless during times of dangerous weather conditions.

Fish of Albany offers financial assistance for utility and electricity bills as well as other basic necessities. Additionally, Fish of Albany offers thrift shop hours in which community members can pick out available items such as gently used clothing, shoes, bedding, towels, and other household items. Fish of Albany also hosts back to school events with free school supplies.

The Affordable Connectivity Program is a federal program that provides free and reduced cost of monthly internet bills.

SNAP is a federal and state run program that provides a card with funding for groceries to qualifying low income families. The amount of funds given each month is dependent on family income.
