Parent and Child Interaction Therapy:
Parent Child Interaction Therapy is a therapeutic intervention for parents and children ages two through six years of age. PCIT is nationally recognized as one of the most effective interventions for children experiencing profound social, emotional, or behavioral problems. PCIT teaches parents and caregivers skills to strengthen attachment and encourage prosocial behaviors and decrease maladaptive behaviors (Oregon.gov).

The Portland Anxiety Clinic offers PCIT to parents and their children ages 2-7 years of age.
