Overcoming the Immense Frustration with Yourself

BUT ...

You are probably your own worst enemy in bringing your mind-blowing wisdom to the world.

You get bored so easily trying to grasp these ethereal thought threads and solidifying them into a teachable form. You’ve played with the idea of writing a book or teaching a course, but despite your many, many, many starts, you fail to finish even one.

Well, that might not be entirely true.

You may have - with some miracles involved - pushed through to completion on one. But … what. a. struggle. that. was. Enough to make you think twice about doing it again.

Because, if you’re even slightly like me, you have access to enough wisdom to make dozens of courses. Or books. But let’s keep the focus on courses. For now.

I want to share with you a process that has, sigh, FINALLY opened the door that moves my insights and philosophies and self-created theories into a way that others can access it. It’s an issue that I’ve struggled with for literally decades.

I’ve taken many courses and read countless resources on how to design courses. And to market them to get them to a wide audience.

In other words, I’ve tried to do the right thing.

I’ve spent a lot of energy to educate myself on the ‘best practices’ for teaching. Online. Because I live in a remote rural area and I don’t care to travel much.

Wrong focus, these best practices.

Now … to be clear

This is not a program on how to be successful with your courses.

This set of ideas I'm presenting to you is a number of steps back from that, that targets the beginning, the source of birthing your chaotic pool of theories into this physical world in ways that begin to solidify as words, phrases, paragraphs, principles, diagrams, images, conversations, that eventually make their way into books and courses.

This is a little project that I created that is intended to give you some tools for you to make your course in the first place.

Your way.

That you are thrilled with.

That thrills your audience … or not … but that is not the point. At this stage.Your high level knowledge - gained from your intuitive and mental wanderings - aren’t really understandable by the majority.

Just. Get. Your. Knowledge. Out. Of. Your Head.

You need a way to open up that faucet so that your inner knowings flows outward.

In ways that delight you and meets your deepest satisfaction.

In a way you are PROUD of.

I’ve actually made many courses and written many manuals and a number of books. But they BORED ME SENSELESS. Ironically by following the best practice protocols. My soul did not spark up with what I’d created, so it was hard for me to imagine anyone else would be excited. So they lingered, unread, unpromoted, unloved.

A waste of both my time and energy while looking productive to anyone who observed me.

What I will show you is the process that has cracked that hard nut for me. It may work for you. It may not. It may inspire you to try something that works for you but hasn’t really been done by anyone, let alone being taught by anyone.

I thought the problem was with me. In a way it was, but it’s my responsibility to get creative with how I resolved it.

A problem’s solution always looks differently when you look at it when it’s infront of you as opposed to when it’s behind you.

It’s not a straightforward path from A to Z, and my way will not be your way.

However … I can point out a number of guideposts that are consistently overlooked by the self-proclaimed experts. I can point out a number of key processes that chisel away at the barriers that hold back your genius.
