During the month of April the Young Investors club discussed investing in car rental services, real estate companies, semiconductors, and cybersecurity ETFS. The club realized that so many investors are anticipating a rise in car rental services because as people travel during the pandemic they are more likely to use car rental services instead of taxis and other methods of public transportation. We were debating whether it is a good time to buy Avis because it could be overvalued since the stock price is at an all time high, or if it would maintain this value. Aside from car rental services the club realized real estate might start to rebound from pandemic. Additionally, we looked into semiconductors and cybersecurity ETfs since they both allow many products to funnction.
