A multi-page Excel dashboard designed to monitor and analyze the financial health of the healthcare center, including provider efficiency, patient visit trends, and optimizing resource allocation based on detailed operational data.
The Business Problem & Goal
The primary business challenge was the inability to gain a unified, data-driven perspective on the facility's financial and operational performance. The goal was to build a comprehensive, multi-page dashboard to provide stakeholders with:
Financial Overview: Summarize the financial health (Total Billing, Treatment Cost).
Provider Insights: Analyze the performance and efficiency of healthcare providers.
Trend Analysis: Highlight important trends over time (Length of Stay, Patient Visits).
Data Modeling & Advanced Analytics:
Complex Data Model:
The solution required merging 9+ separate data tables (visits, patients, providers, procedures, insurance) using unique key IDs to form a single, star-schema data model.
Power Query Transformation:
Power Query was used to clean, profile, and transform all raw datasets, ensuring accurate linkages between operational data (Visits) and descriptive data (Providers, Patients).
The Interactive Solution (Full Dashboard Demo)
The final dashboard consists of 3 main pages (Financial, Provider, and Trend Overview) to allow for drill-down analysis across departments, diagnoses, and insurance providers.

Revenue Discrepancy:
Analysis of the Billing Amount revealed a significant disparity in income generated by service type, with Inpatient Services contributing disproportionately high revenue despite fewer total visits compared to Outpatient.
Provider Efficiency:
The report highlighted Dr. Olu Abisola as the top provider based on the Total Billing Amount and a high Patient Satisfaction Score, allowing management to analyze their process for best practices.
Operational Bottlenecks:
The Trend Analysis showed a clear correlation between certain Procedures (MRI Scan) and high Length of Stay and Treatment Costs.
