Inquiries, Investigations, and Immersion

Inquiries, Investigations, and Immersion (3I's) is a culminating applied track subject in the Senior High School (SHS) curriculum of the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines. This course focuses on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills using both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Building on the foundational knowledge gained in previous research courses, 3I's equips students with the comprehensive skills necessary to design, conduct, and analyze research projects effectively. 

The curriculum emphasizes the practical application of research methods, guiding students through every stage of the research process. This includes brainstorming research topics, formulating research questions, collecting data, analyzing results, and interpreting findings. Key topics covered in the course include identifying research problems, reviewing relevant literature, selecting appropriate research designs and data collection methods, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and presenting research findings. Additionally, the course highlights the importance of ethical considerations throughout the research process.

3I's is a crucial subject for SHS students, empowering them to conduct rigorous and meaningful research across diverse fields.
