Dr. Yesha Bhatt

          After completing the journey of studying literature for five years, I am very thankful to my professors and teachers. This portfolio contains all my achievements and these achievements are incomplete without my teachers who have always helped me to improve in one or the other way. 

           I wish to express my most sincere gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Dilip Barad. He is the head of Department of English, without his efforts for all students these achievements were not possible for me. He always taught us to do things in an innovative way with our creativity. I would also like to express my gratitude towards Dr. Vishal Pandya, because of his teachings I was able to cultivate understanding towards literature and criticism. Equally I would like to thank our department’s visiting faculty Mr. Parth Bhatt, for his all time support and help.

           I was totally unaware with the use of technology and social media as well, but after knowing the benefits or I should say the good sides of internet and social media, now I am using it in a very different way. 

       Blogs (Now I am the owner of almost 150 personal blogs, 8 blogs in documentation committee blogs and 15 blogs in assignments blogs and all contains my original thoughts),

    Facebook (I don’t have more numbers of sefies on my wall but I have definitely some good posts of my activities and critical writings.), 

    Twitter (I use twitter to share my blogs and presentations worldwide), 

    E-mail (This was a very interactive tool during my MA studies, I have participated in more than 10 online discussions) 

  Slide share (Now I have more than 20 presentation which I have prepared and shared), 

       G+ (This app was not that much useful for me before entering in Department of English, but then I realized the value of sharing our original writings, Now I have more than 130 followers on google plus, who time and again appreciates my writings.), 

    Linked in, You tube ( I used to watch different kinds of videos on You tube but now I have my own You Tube channel and also have my fifteen presentation videos on that)

     Coursera (I was not aware with any kind of Online courses, but when Sir challenged all students then I tried it and now I have completed three Online courses with certificate) and many more web tools for education... I have earned all these things from department of English. 

      I have also developed self confidence through anchoring, giving speeches in guest lectures and participating in Daily schedule. Daily Schedule is the most important platform to develop speaking skill and get rid of stage fear. I heartily thank Dr. Dilip Barad for all my achievements.
