Serial Killings

Overview

Project Scope: Pick a theme or topic of your interest and create an infographic for it. Create marketing designs based on the infographic you have created.

Serial Killings is a compilation of infographics and marketing designs that people can learn more about serial killers and past records of such happenings, including the scariest/deadly/most gruesome ones.

It was created as part of a Design module in Nanyang Poly where the goal was to come up with a series of design that helps the intended target audience to learn more about serial killings as well as gain attention and awareness for the public eye on such a topic.

Research & Layout

The first thing to do was to research on what specific information I would like to present in my infographic. A good mixture of words and visuals were necessary. Thus I decided to first find related references to serial killer infographic as well as interesting information about serial killings which I can obtain from reliable sources. From there I branched out to the layout of the infographic.

Infographic Layout

With the research material, sketches and layout all planned out, I next look for suitable fonts and color palettes that matches with the theme in mind. Once I have these, I started working on the actual design. This was done in Adobe Illustrator.

Marketing Designs

With the infographic design done, I decided to reuse the elements that I have designed in the infographics to incorporate into my marketing designs. Majority of the Marketing designs were done in Adobe Illustrator. The website on the other hand, was done in Adobe XD.
