Concern For Hunger

Overview

Problem Statement: “Concerned About Hunger (CAH) is an organization committed to the sustainable end of world hunger. It has ongoing programs in Africa, Asia and Latin America, where it implements programs aimed at mobilizing rural grassroots communities to achieve sustainable progress in health, education, nutrition and family income.”

Project Scope: To create a working prototype of a responsive website for a Humanitarian Aid Organization.

A site has been created for Concern For Hunger that allows consumers to learn more the organization and promotes for a way to donate.

It was created as part of a UI/UX module in Nanyang Poly where we were to create responsive prototypes and mockups

Product Vision

Since the site primary focus is to help the organization gain traction and attention, I decided to first work on the layout of the overall site and how to display each piece of content meaningfully. This is done through a sitemap.

As the images and contents were already provided by the client, I would then move on to find suitable fonts. I decided to choose a font that has a good mix of friendliness and professionalism to it: Helvetica.

Wireframes

Once sufficient research has been done, I moved on to sketching out how I envision the site to look. This was later translated to a more detailed and refine version in wireframes.

Mockups

Once the wireframes have been finalized, the next step was to add colors, imagery and any filler content to its actual content. Mockups and Wireframes for the site were all done in Adobe XD.
