Carving Depths

It seems a simple thing now, but when I first started carving I was going in way, way to deep. After some trial and error, and listening to those in the X-Carve Owners Group that are much more experienced that myself, I realized you really don't need to carve so deep.

Reading multiple posts on this topic, I have landed on .08 as my default carve depth for almost all my lettering and graphics.
