Having devoted his life to helping those around him, Ryan Delaney, MA, LPC, CTTP is now eager to turn his attention towards giving back to the community that has given him so much. Being a Plum High School graduate (class of 2005), Ryan has lived in Plum since his parents moved into the Ramparts in 1994. He now resides in Holiday Park with his lovely wife, two kids, two dogs and a cat. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Pitt Greensburg in 2010, and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from IUP in 2016. He has been successfully operating his own private mental health outpatient practice in Turtle Creek since 2020, and prides himself on providing person centered, trauma focused therapy to all ages and demographics. To help with this mission, Ryan has been certified as a meditation coach, a sound healer, and, most recently, certified in treatment of personality disorders.
Having previously served on Plum council (2020 to 2024), Ryan is eager to take what he learned during his first tenure and apply it towards making Plum Borough a great place for everyone ! During his first term, he contributed to the creation of the Stormwater Task Force and the Boro Connect form, which helps residents communicate their concerns directly to the Boro. He firmly believes in the power of community and wants to show people that the government can work for its citizens instead of against it. Ryan is particularly interested in building up community resources with a special emphasis on mental health support and support awareness.
