Michael Palombo

Michael Palombo is a lifelong resident of Plum Borough.  Along with his wife, Jessica, and their two young children, they chose to live in Plum Borough because of its excellent school district, affordability, and proximity to family.  

Michael graduated in 2015 from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Finance and Supply Chain Management.  He later earned a Master of Finance from Penn State University in 2018.

Throughout his career, Michael has gained valuable experience as an investment analyst at prominent financial firms, including the Bank of New York Mellon and Federated Hermes. Currently, he is the general manager of his family’s construction company and is a licensed realtor with Coldwell Banker.

This election year, Michael is excited to campaign for the position of Tax Collector, with the goal of bringing a fresh perspective to the office by focusing on efficiency, transparency, and modernization.  Streamlining processes for quicker, more accurate tax collection while making the office more accessible to ensure clear communication with the public resulting in a well-informed taxpayer.

Over the next few months, Michael is eager to meet with as many Plum residents as possible and looks forward to earning your vote.
