Phoebus Apollo and his wife, Melanie, moved to Plum in 2019 in search of better housing opportunities and a top-tier school district for their four children. Today, their two teenagers, Emanuel and Jasmine Flournoy, are graduating from Plum Senior High, while their two young boys, Evan and Aeson Apollo, are thriving in 1st grade at Pivik Elementary and pre-K, respectively.
A seasoned IT professional, Phoebus works for a local Plum business, helping small- to medium-sized companies across the Pittsburgh area solve a wide range of computing challenges. His passion for finding solutions extends beyond his career and serves as a driving force behind his decision to run for Plum Council.
Phoebus has also made a significant impact as the web administrator for Perverted Justice, a non-profit volunteer organization that has helped expose and convict over 600 dangerous child predators. In this role, he developed a database reporting system to streamline data sharing with law enforcement and successfully authored and passed a law in the Kansas state legislature, empowering local police to conduct internet-based child predator sting operations.
Known for his commitment to independent political thinking, Phoebus is dedicated to keeping divisive national political rhetoric out of Plum's local politics. His focus remains on fostering collaboration and implementing solutions to make Plum better.
