Geter Sloan III

Geter Sloan III is a dedicated community leader, parent, and advocate for student success, Geter is running for the Plum Borough School Board to ensure that our schools provide every child with the tools they need to thrive. With a background in business analysis, program management, and organizational leadership, Geter brings the skills necessary to drive accountability, transparency, and innovation in our district.

Geter has served as a board member for non-profit organizations with the consistent mission of working to uplift and empower youth through mentorship and education. As a husband and father of three amazing children, he understands the importance of strong schools that support academic achievement, career readiness, and student well-being.

Geter believes in fiscal responsibility, open communication, and policies that put students first. By fostering collaboration between parents, teachers, and administrators, he believes that we can build a school district that prioritizes excellence and prepares our students for a bright future.
