Hello, my name is Raymond Rall, and I am running for a seat on the Plum Boro Council. I have called Plum home for the past 10 years, with my wife Beth and our four wonderful children: Izabella, a recent Plum High School graduate; Jaedyn, a dedicated 10th grader who plays both football and wrestling; Elijah, an 8th grader and a baseball player for the Plum 9th-grade team; and Alexis, a third-grader who is passionate about dancing at M&M Dance Academy.
In addition to being an active father, I am also a dedicated coach for the Plum Baseball and Softball Association (PBSA), where I work to instill teamwork, discipline, and a love of the game in young athletes. This experience has allowed me to connect with many families in our community, and it gives me a unique perspective on the needs and priorities of Plum’s residents.
Professionally, I serve as the Dean of Students and Safety & Security Coordinator at Passport Academy Charter School, an institution dedicated to supporting at-risk students in downtown Pittsburgh. Through this role, I have gained invaluable experience in leadership, problem-solving, and creating safe, supportive environments for students to thrive.
As a father, educator, and community member, I am committed to making Plum a better place for families, students, and residents. I believe in working together to address the needs of our community, ensuring the safety and well-being of all who live here, and making decisions that reflect the values and priorities of Plum’s residents.
I would be honored to have your support as I work to bring positive change and continue the great work being done in our borough. Together, we can make Plum an even better place to live, work, and raise a family.
Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to serving you on the Plum Boro Council.
Raymond Rall
