Whether you want to check when a free trial ends, manage your Prime renewal, upgrade a digital plan, or review your digital purchases, Amazon provides tools to manage everything from one place. Below is a complete overview to help you manage your digital account and services easily.

How to Manage Your Amazon Prime Membership?

You can manage all Prime-related details from your Amazon account.

• Go to Manage Your Prime Membership in your Amazon account.

• View your next payment date and update your preferred payment method.

• Enable an email reminder by selecting Remind me before renewing to get notified 3 days before renewal.

If you want to cancel your Prime membership:

On the same page, select End Membership and Benefits from the left-hand side.

How to Check and Manage Digital Subscriptions?

Amazon Music

You can manage your Amazon Music Unlimited subscription online:

• Go to Your Amazon Music Settings.

• Open the Amazon Music Unlimited section to view:

  • Subscription renewal date

  • Cost and active promotions or free trials

  • Authorized devices

• You can also change your plan or payment method from this page.
  
  

To manage via the Amazon Music app:

• Select the Gear icon.

• Choose Amazon Music Unlimited to view or edit plan details.
  
  

If you subscribed through Apple iTunes, manage your subscription through your iOS device settings or Apple support.

Channels (Prime Video Channels)

Managing Prime Video Orders

You can cancel accidental Prime Video purchases within 48 hours, as long as the video hasn’t been streamed or downloaded.

To cancel online:

• Go to Your Digital Orders.

• Find the order you want to cancel.

• Select Cancel Your Order.

• Choose a reason and confirm.

You can also ask Alexa to cancel:

Using Amazon Gift Cards for Digital Purchases

You can use Amazon gift cards to:

• Rent or buy movies

How gift cards work for digital downloads:

• Redeem the gift card in Your Account, or

• Select Redeem a gift card or promotion code before clicking Buy now
  
  

Once redeemed, the balance is automatically applied to eligible digital purchases before a credit or debit card is charged.

If promotional or gift card funds are available, Amazon will use those first. Paying directly with a credit or debit card may not be possible until those balances are used.

Purchasing Kindle Books as a Gift

You can gift Kindle books even if you don’t own a Kindle device.

Before gifting:

• Make sure the recipient’s email address is correct.

• Set up a valid 1-Click payment method under Manage Your Content and Devices > Settings > Digital Payment Settings.
  
  

Steps to gift a Kindle book:

• Open the Kindle Store in a desktop browser.

• Select the book (free books, pre-orders, and subscriptions aren’t eligible).

• Click Buy for others.

• Enter the recipient’s email address.

• Choose a delivery date and optional message.

• Place your order.

You can resend a gift email from Your Digital Orders if needed.
