Try the following troubleshooting steps if you see the “Something went wrong” error while streaming Prime Video.
Close the Prime Video app completely.
Exit the app and reopen it, or close your web browser if you’re watching on a computer.
Restart your device.
Restart your Fire TV, Smart TV, mobile device, or computer to refresh the connection.
Check for device or app updates.
Make sure your device and the Prime Video app are running the latest software version.
Restart your internet equipment.
Unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds, then plug them back in and wait for the internet to reconnect.
Check your internet connection.
Confirm your device is connected to the internet and that other apps or websites are loading normally.
Clear Prime Video app cache and data (Fire TV).
Go to Settings, then Applications, select Prime Video, and clear the cache and data.
Pause other internet activity.
Stop downloads or streaming on other devices using the same network.
Turn off VPN or proxy services.
Disable any VPN or proxy connection and try streaming again.
If the error continues after trying these steps, wait a few minutes and try again. Temporary service issues can sometimes cause this error to appear.
