The San Andreas Law Enforcement Council (SALEC) is an association of law enforcement agencies within Los Santos County. Member agencies operate by sharing resources and personnel, collectively providing services to each other that might not be available to one. SALEC coordinates this sharing of personnel and resources to provide its member agencies with the ability to provide supplemental services to the 250,000 people in the 30.84 square miles they serve.

Guided by a comprehensive progression chart, our dedicated team offers personalized assistance, ensuring individuals navigate departmental procedures with confidence and clarity. Through our rigorous training standards, including the Advanced Training Course, Officer Success Program lessons, and immersive ride-alongs, we foster a culture of continuous learning and development, empowering our officers to excel in their roles and serve our community with distinction.

Bureau of professional standards

The Bureau of Professional Standards (BPS) within the Municipal Police is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of policing through accountability and transparency. Led by the BPS, efforts focus on developing and enforcing standards related to officer conduct, department uniformity, and resource management. Citizens of San Andreas can file complaints through any Municipal Police Station or directly with a police employee, triggering an investigative process overseen by Internal Affairs. This process ensures thorough investigations of all complaints, emphasizing fairness and impartiality in addressing allegations of misconduct. BPS remains committed to fostering a culture of professionalism and accountability within the Municipal Police force, striving for safe and equitable interactions between officers and the community
