EOD SOP

This manual outlines the responsibilities of LSPD EOD Technicians. EOD personnel have the expertise in the most conventional and unconventional explosives to ensure the secure disposal of explosive weaponry. They are on call to respond to any type of ordnance and they receive special training.

WHILE integrating with other units certain guidelines and habits must be followed and performed to minimise the risk of injury towards those without EOD training

IF a hazardous explosive is identified in your general vicinity you should always make sure that your presence is known to nearby LSPD personnel and clear the area around the explosives while attempting defusal

AS a general rule, EOD Technicians at a dead run outrank every other soldier in the room

OTHER Officers may bring relevant information on the field that changes your decided defusal strategy some exceptions and special conditions may apply

BASIC EXPLOSIVESS

Standard Bomb

This is what most explosive bombs will look

like its a electronic digital timed explosive made From C4 Plastic explosive wires and a timer with A numpad for a code

STEPS

Clear the area
Set up a perimeter to not let anyone in
Find the explosive
Asses the damage the explosive could cause to the area and people
Begin the defusal procedure

CLEAR THE AREA ON ARRIVAL MAKE SURE ALL CIVILIANS ARE CLEAR OF THE AREA AND CHECK TO SEE IF THE BOMBER IS STILL NEARBY OR INSIDE

PERIMETER SECTION OFF AS MUCH OF THE AREA AS YOU CAN A GOOD DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE BLAST AREA AND DO NOT LET ANYONE PAST UNTIL EOD GIVES THE ALL CLEAR THIS INCLUDES OTHER OFFICERS

SEARCHING ONCE EOD ENTERS THE AREA AND BEGIN TO FIND THE EXPLOSIVE YOU WILL HEAR A LOUD AUDIBLE BEEPING COMING FROM THE BOMB THAT WILL GET QUICKER THE SHORTER THE TIMER ON THE BOMB

AOD TAKE A LOOK AROUND AND FIND OUT HOW BAD THE DAMAGE TO THE SURROUNDING AREA WITH BE THIS INCLUDES PROPERTY DAMAGE NON REPLACEABLE ITEMS AND OTHER PEOPLE

DIFFUSAL THERE IS MULTIPLE STEPS TO DEFUSE THE BOMB FIRST INSPECT THE BOMB AND YOU WILL SEE

ENTER CODE, TIMER, AND WIRES RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW, PURPLE, PINK

YOU GET 2 CHANCES TO CUT WIRES THIS IS RANDOM IF YOU FAIL THE TIME GETS CUT IN HALF

AFTER THE SECOND ATTEMPT YOU CAN RUN A DIFFUSAL PROGRAM YOU CAN 2 TRIES AT THIS ALSO

WHEN YOU RUN THE DIFFUSAL PROGRAM THIS WILL LAUNCH A HACKING PROGRAM

YOU WILL THEN SEE 2 CODES ON TOP OF THE SCREEN YOU NEED TO MOVE THESE CODES USING (W A S D) FOR THE LEFT CODE AND (< ^ \/ > ) ARROW KEYS TO CONFIRM LEFT CODE PRESS SPACEBAR TO CONFIRM RIGHT CODE PRESS ENTER

YOU HAVE 15 SECONDS TO DO THIS THE SCREEN IS CONSTANTLY CHANGING AND ONLY 2 CODES WONT CHANGE YOU CAN DO THIS 2 TIMES BEFORE YOU NEED TO EVACUATE THE AREA AND LET IT EXPLODE

IF YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL IN THE DEFUSAL YOU CAN THEN PICK UP THE EXPLOSIVE AND STORE IT IN EVIDENCE
