Welcome to your rotation at WPMC Emergency Department. Please view your schedule in Lightning Bolt. If you are a civilian, you must ensure you have access to the base systems PRIOR TO your first shift. This means going in between Monday - Friday 8a-3p. Please contact Ms. Kathy Dyke, please do so as soon as possible to arrange base access: kathy.d.dyke.civ@mail.mil, Ph (937) 656-3172.
If you are unable to make a shift due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please contact your chief resident. As always, if you have any questions or concerns during your rotation with us, please contact your chiefs. Enjoy your rotation!

During all ED blocks all residents, military residents will be assigned 2 shifts at WPMC, while civilian residents will be assigned 1, creating a longitudinal experience in military medicine.
Please ensure your username/passwords/certificates are current. Remember if you have not worked on base in a while, your passwords may be expired. If you have problems with accessing any of the above, please go to IT/Computer Services, located on the first floor by the main elevators. Keep in mind that the military functions on a Monday - Friday day shift system, if you are working a Sunday T-shift on base you must think again and possibly go in during the week to ensure your access is up to date.
Unless given permission otherwise by Dr. Murray, military members are expected to arrive and depart your shifts in uniform. You may, however, change into scrubs while working in the department. You must maintain OCP regulations while in purple scrubs.
