As a species, Dreamfluffs do not dream. While they can sleep and rest , they do not see images in their heads. Its very common for those with dream magic to use it and give people dreams, which became a job of its own.

The only reason they know creatures see images in their heads while sleeping is because of records found from the Old World mentioning humans and dreaming, as well as from observing animals and other creatures in the Dream world. 

Humans are a species that fluffs do not know much about. The only information of them is via records from the Old World, which does not provide much context as the majority of them do not go in detail about them. 

Humanology became a field of study for Dreamfluffs interested in studying the Old World and humans. Some Dreamfluffs debate if humans are real and think they are just a myth written from the Old world. 

The important thing they know is that supposedly, humans are the cause of Dream Shards, which led some places to worship them. 

Old World is called everything that has happened before the reappearance of Dreamfluffs. Since Dreamfluffs were born into a world of ruins, they had no context or history of the past aside from records found in the Tower of Dreams and from ruins around them. The Old World has a lot of mysteries and ruins are kept safe for research purposes. 

A vast world filled with logic and no logic. It has been explored as far as the 6 regions go, Dreamfluffs settling in these regions and making it their home. Any land around them has been left alone. For how long I wonder...

The Dreamworld has a normal day and night circle. However, regardless of if its night or day, the sky will always have stars present, they are simply more visible during the night. 

The day sky has a mix of pink and blue on it. As the Dreamworld is both logical and illogical , there can be locations found where only day or night is present.

There are instances where an object will whisper something when you brush by it for the first time. If for example there is a field, when you touch and pass by the grass and flowers, there’s a chance something will react and whisper something. Spirit voices can be found all over the 6 regions and it became a common occurrence, so most fluffs don't pay attention to it. 

Safe zones are considered the places that are safe for Dreamfluffs to be born at , which are the 6 regions. Dreamfluffs luckily are always born inside them but since birth locations are random, some could possible be born a bit farther. Scouts, which are usually Knights, exist to help newborn fluffs that happen to be born around the area. 

Knights exist mostly in Asterolia and they will take the newborns to nearby towns and cities so the locals can take the new one in. In other regions where Knights are not a thing, a newborn will most likey be found by mercenaries or everyday citizens that happens to be around the area. In some other cases, the newborn fluff might find the town on their own after some walking by accident.

Nightmerfluffs as they call themselves are Dreamfluffs born of Dream Shards emitting an unpleasant feeling.

While both types, nightmare and dreams, are technically Dreamfluffs because they are born from Dream shards, (and that's the species name) its not very uncommon for nightmare types to call themselves Nightmerfluffs to distinguish themselves from dream types out of hate.

Most Nightmerfluffs are past the rocky history between dream types and nightmare types but some still tend to keep it in their hearts. 

The Great Attack is a major event that shaped fluff history. Astaroh, a nightmare type that became the leader of the first nightmerfluffs to be born, attacked Oneiria city in its infancy when they discovered its existence and the existence of pearls. This attack lead to the first and only war in the specie's history which led many to flee and create their own places, eventually birthing the 6 regions once peace was established.

The war lasted for 10 years with both sides experiencing casualties. It was very brutal and many perished. The only reason it ended was because of monsters called The Masked emerging and attacking the species, which led the two sides to work together in order to fight them off.

When The Masked were safely fought off and casted away, Isadora and Astaroh, the (yet to be) king and queen of nightmerfluffs and dreamfluffs formed a peace treaty. Oneiria City, called Village of Stars at the time, would provide pearls to everyone, including nightmerfluffs, while nightmerfluffs would not start another war unless the treaty was broken. 

This created a new peaceful era and went on to birth many new things, and has been going on for the past thousand years. 

The main god Dreamfluffs (mostly those in Asterolia) worship before the moon sisters is the God of Dreams, Aster. Not many records exist about him but there are enough detailing how he created the Dream world and all the great things he had done. All this information has been compiled into a book available for everyone to read. 

Aster is considered the main and powerful god while anyone afterwards is considered lower or secondary. Depending on region however this can vary, as not everyone worships or recognize him as their god. 

Dreamfluffs believe in the 12 moon sisters, which are said to be goddesses residing in the dreamworld alongside Aster.​

They play a big part in some cultures and are the main and only influence in the creation of the calendar, as the twelve goddesses are actual moons found in the sky that take turns every month.
