Companions are creatures that assist or reside with your character and do not live in the wild. Unlike other creatures and animals found in the fauna page, these are creatures that are safe and often time act as pets. Companions are separated into two: Normal, Normal IRL and Seasoned/exclusive. Check the design notes for each of the companions to know how you can customize them (if possible)
Are you perhaps looking for a new companion? Well worry not, Peppa got you! Companions are a fluff's best friend, and here you are surely to find yours! Pets range from cute little furballs to scarey looking beasts. In canon, your character could have gotten their companion from Peppa or found them in the wild/other means, whatever suits your story better.
Currently not many companions are available. Stay tuned

Pearl companions, also known as Perlions, are little doll-like creatures that accompany DreamFluffs and give them pearls. They basically act like pouches for the Dreamfluff if they do not want to carry one. Unlike other companions these are an artificial species created by Steam city after the request of Oneiria City so they are mainly found in Asterolia.
Perlions are dolls able to move and interact with their environment and their owner but are limited to a few commands. They are not exactly sentient but are able to react to what is told to them even if limited.
Perlions store pearls inside their hollow bodies as well as the jars on the head. They minimize the pearls stored inside them because of their magic, so they are able to carry all the pearls a fluff has. When they run out of pearls they will stop moving until they are filled again.
Perlions can either be customized by the owner or the owner chooses ready made ones. They are given for free to dream types living in Oneiria City, and anyone else will have to pay.
Storage: Perlions minimize pearls given to them so they fit inside their jar. They can turn them back to their original size when needed.
Pocket sized: Perlions can make themselves smaller so they can be carried around

This section is for animals found in real life that can be kept as house pets or pets that are safe to keep around the house/farm/environment. They will follow unofficial NPC rules (like with Summons) unless drawn and approved in #app-approval channel. Read more about NPC rules here.
Make sure an OC keeping such pets makes sense, as even in canon they will need to take care of them and get them food (which would be either manually grown, hunted or bought fresh from others)
If you are not sure which size category your pet fits feel free to ask.
Bunnies, frogs, snakes, mouse, hamster, ferrets, hedgehog, squirrel, small dogs, cats, tortoise, lizards, guinea pig
Monkey, Sheep, Every other dog that is not small counts as medium, even if they are considered large in real life.
Horse, Cows

Small floating jellyfish-like creatures that appear during the winter season in Asterolia. They move up and down like jellyfish and are hollow on the inside except their heads, so when they move, their skirt (As fluffs call it) flows in the wind.
Starry jellies can be tamed and kept in any weather but thrive best in the cold, which is why many buy or seek them during the cold. They appear in the wild and can be kept as pets but only if they feel safe. If they don't , they will immediately run away into the sky never to be seen again.
Starry jelly change visually depending on the weather. So while they look Starry and blue in the winter and cold, they can look orange/yellow in hot weathers. If you do keep one as a pet they will stay with you as long as you feed them berries.
This companion can be bought only during Winter (December-February)
Meep Meep: Everytime a Starry Jelly makes a meep sound small sparkles come out of their skirts. These stars tickle. The happier the Starry Jelly the ticklier the stars. This is not harmful and is more like a species quirk than a skill.

An octopus species that live in the ocean but like to appear in shallow waters during very hot summers. This is very common with baby octocubes because they like to shoot passerbies with water (which comes out of mouths with water they hold inside their bodies). No matter how cute they are as youngsters, it's advised not to touch them until older, since they are protected usually by giant octopuses who take care of them (such as the one in the black beach and Kalamita)
When the octocube is an adult (which takes a year) they are free to roam the ocean on their own. This is when they are usually adopted for their ability to naturally produce cold from the bottom of their tentacles. A lot of Samera fluffs living by the beach own an octocube and let them rest on their heads to help themselves cool down. Considering adult Octocubes are very slow and trembly, they really enjoy doing this!
The skin of an octocube is affected by the oceans they roam. The ones in the black beach for example will have grayscale colours (most times black) while the ones in Kalamita are more blue. Regardless of colour however, the bottom of their tentacles have a bit of shaved ice look as a result of one of their skills.
This companion can be bought only during Summer (June-August)
Water gun: An octocube can store water inside their bodies and then shoot it out through their mouths with force. Baby ones do this for fun before growing up and understanding it should be used when needed.
Freezing buttocks: An octocube can make their tentacles cold, which as result makes the bottom of them turn icey. Put an octocube on top of your head for a very cool experience. Baby ones develop this skill in adulthood. When the skill is no longer in use the ice will melt but will have some remnants that didn't melt away.
Octocube specialty: They can produce icecubes with the water in their body. Pretty neat. But it also will taste like the water they keep so most of the cubes will taste...salty. (or sandy, oops)

A mysterious species that emerges during fall season. They appear in fields where pumpkins are harvested, wearing a pumpkin as a shell which they wear by digging a hole under the pumpkin and emerging upwards. No one knows how they actually look and any attempt to remove the pumpkin results in them running away and digging a hole to escape. If not, you earn their trust and they become your best buddy!
Pumpkyus in the simplest terms are basically dogs, but that could be what fluffs think they are considering the only visible parts of a Pumpkyu are their legs which resemble that of dogs. This has given the species the nickname "pumpkin dogs" which they seem to really like!
A pumpkyu's shell is a normal pumpkin which means it will eventually rot, and it's when the owner has to prepare a new one. Simply place the new one on the dirt next to them and they will dig down, go under the new one and quickly enter their new shell.
If a new pumpkin isn't handed (for reasons such as them not being in season or didn't wanna bother) the pumpkyu will go underground once their pumpkin has rotten and stay there until you provide one. If you don't, they might leave permanently, but if there's trust, they will stay until next fall and make their presence known by throwing things from the ground upwards. They won't let them see you but they are here!
It's common for owners to carve cute faces onto the pumpkin before handing it. Make sure you aren't carving too deep, the pumpkyu won't wear it otherwise! They don't want to be seen on the inside afterall~
This companion can be bought only during Autumn (September-November)
Holes! Holes!: A pumpkyu can dig holes really fast with it's paws. Very handy if you need to place new tombstones or for farming~
Sniff sniff: A pumpkyu has good smell and can recognize which vegetables are fresh and which not by smelling them. Their forte are pumpkins and anything similar to them (cucumbers, melons etc). Once they memorize you, they can recognize you by your smell as well.

A species that emerges during the spring season and can be found in flowers fields and any place that is abundant in them, like Topika (which is the main region they can be found easily). Fnakes are a docile species who exist sorely to make other species (including fluffs) relax by being their personal heaters & therapists.
A Fnake's skin might look smooth but it's warm and furry (like a furby) that is very good for newborns. Because of their caring nature a lot of times you can find them cuddling baby animals to warm them up until their mothers come back (or if the mothers are dead and cannot warm their babies). If a parent is not in the picture, a Fnake will take it upon themselves to raise the animal, regardless if it's small or big (even if they are unable to succeed every time)
As for their therapist nature, that comes in the form of aromatherapy. As a species thriving in relaxation & caring their flower parts are there to emit a pleasant calming smell that helps anyone in their radius relax, which also acts as a defense mechanism for any prey species that might be looking to eat them.
If you also ever need a neck pillow, give them a shout!
This companion can be bought only during Spring (March-April)
Relax,my dude: A Fnake can emit a pleasant smell from their flower petals that makes anyone within 2 radius relax. Very good if you are having a stressful day!
Massage: A Fnake can use it's petals to massage your face or any part feeling sore, making it smell nice afterwards like a perfume/essential oil of their flower
