Animals: Many plants and landscapes have been consumed by Nina over the years and as a result, more than a few animals have been introduce into her stomach world. The more dangerous ones have been pushed back to the deeper portions of her stomach, safely away from civilization.
Danger Levels- in relation to an average human.
Harmless: No danger at all. Not even an idiot could hurt themselves with this creature. Butterflies are an example.
Minimal: Usually a small or very peaceful creature. Squirrels are on this level.
Moderate: Possibly dangerous if provoked or agressive, but not powerful. Dog is a good example.
Severe: Aggressive and dangerous. Most average people will not survive the encounter. Sharks, lions and tigers are real world examples.
Colossal: Aggressive, very dangerous and probably very intelligent. Very few beasts are known to be on this level, mostly because almost no one has survived an encounter long enough to accurately describe it.
Plains
Armored Rattler-Minimal
An giant mouse like creature about the size of sheep. Related to the Giant Snow Rat, it has instead adapted to life in the very flammable plains. It's covered neck to stubby tail in hollow scales. These scales provide enough protection for the Rattler to survive a brief plains fire, but if surrounded by fire for too long it will eventually die. It's head is covered in reptilian scales. It names comes from the durability of its armor and the rattling noise it makes with these scales when threatened. It feeds on the long grass that surrounds it and the occasional kilacara egg.
Kilacara-Moderate alone-Severe in packs
Large ostrich sized flightless birds, they are very aggressive. They are designed to hunt live prey using very sharp talons and deadly hooked beaks. They can run up to fifty miles an hours and hunt in packs of up to five. Two will scare a creature towards the other three, who are hidden in the tall grass of the plains. When they prey approaches, the three birds leap out and quickly ambush and kill the clueless prey. The one creature on the plains that doesn't live in fear of this creature is the Armored Rattler, whose armor renders it immune to kilacara's talons and beak.
Grabzelle-Minimal, but annoying
The main prey of the kilacara. They are slender gazelle like creatures that had the odd tendency to steal items from adventurers, usually using their horns to hook anything shiny they can find. Where they take these items or what they do with them is unknown, but some say that they have masters that command them to steal. Whatever the case may be, they're annoying nuisances to sat the least.
Shade Wolves-Moderate to Severe
Dangerous black and red furred wolves that roam the plains at night. They seem to travel in packs of a dozen or more. It is mostly a ruse. A majority of the wolves will be totally intangible, merely an illusion. The real shade wolves are among their illusory pack, using the illusions to intimidate prey. The real shade wolf will then go and attack a weak spot of the prey while it is frightened. Up to four real shade wolves will be in one pack, usually a male and three females.
Blazeflies-Moderate, but indirectly
Distant relatives of the lightning bug, they look nearly identical. The one difference is that, instead of lightning, they produce a glowing fire in their abdomens. Usually it's small enough just to provide light and a bit of heat. When threatened, their bodies ignite in a flash of fire. The grasses of the plains are often dry, which makes for perfect kindling. Often these are the causes of the many blazes that spread across the plains.
