Physical Details

• On the small side, below average height by at least a few inches or half a foot, maybe more, and is also rather thin and frail.
• Has albinism, and thus has white hair, pale skin, and light blue eyes that can appear pink in the right lighting (actually a real thing; humans with albinism don’t “really” have red or pink eyes, but the lack of melanin in their irises means that light can reflect off the back of the inside of the eye, then back out through their irises, making them appear red or pink). Is also very sensitive to sunlight, which thankfully isn’t a problem inside Nina. Her vision isn’t great either, though she may have eventually gotten glasses or contacts once inside Nina to deal with that.
• Hair is kept short, not even reaching her shoulders (possibly barely reaching her chin even); when she met Nina it was somewhat uneven and messy due to her having to cut it herself, but after living in there and having other people to cut it for her, plus proper hair care supplies, it’d be more even and well-kept.
• Prefers simpler clothes; even when she’s well-respected and stuff inside Nina, she probably wouldn’t want to get too ostentatious in her attire, though they’d be much nicer than what she wore pre-Snakey.
• Mute.

Personality

Would start off rather shy, nervous, etc. around people due to her treatment when growing up. More open when one-on-one or in small groups with people she’s comfortable with and knows are okay with her psychic powers, and is very warm and friendly with Nina. Would slowly gain confidence over time and get used to both being around people and, due to the positions her powers get her put into, dealing with authority and such. Still wouldn’t be a major extrovert or anything, though.

Very kind and polite, wouldn’t want to upset people and would have to learn to assert herself when she first arrived; would be better on this front by the “present”. Likes helping people, though would eventually realize that she can’t, and shouldn’t, try to help every single person personally. Given her kindness and the conditions she grew up in, she would want to make sure those in need are cared for and would push for such things in the places she lives and interacts with.

Telepathic Powers

• Can communicate mentally with people, “speaking” with them “hearing” their responses.
• Capable of reading minds if she desires; even when not trying to do so, she has a passive “psychic empathy” and is sensitive to the minds of those around her, picking up thoughts and feelings without even trying. Inside of Nina, this means that she can always “feel” her friend and usually “hears” her over everyone else, except when close to other people; as a result she can almost always tell when something is bothering Nina or she needs to talk, and immediately reacts when she feels something like shock or fear from her to make sure she’s okay. Being around lots of people for too long can mentally exhaust her or give her a headache due to the prolonged exposure to so many minds and thoughts at once.
• Can similarly “borrow” people’s senses, seeing what they see, hearing what they hear, etc. (Really, this is a particular application of her mind-reading rather than something separate.) Likewise, can share her senses in the same way.
• Can “connect” to multiple people and relay thoughts and messages between them, for silent mental communication between multiple people. She, of course, “hears” everything communicated this way, due to it all going through her mind, so one can’t try to “whisper” to someone else through her to keep secrets from her.
• When scared or surprised, sometimes unwittingly lets out a psychic “scream” that can cause headaches in people within a rather large distance. Could learn to use this actively, or even focus and amplify it on specific targets, but due to her kind nature and unwillingness to hurt people she’s never tried.
• Possibly able to exert more force or control over people mentally, but, similar to the above, has never tried. Is rather afraid to, in fact; given how she was treated when younger due to her mind-reading, she thinks that if people thought she had mind-control powers she would be feared and shunned again, and thus avoids exploring such uses of her powers.
• Does not, as far as anyone knows, have any powers that affect things physically, such as telekinesis; telepathy seems to be the extent of it, though she is very powerful there.

Backstory

From a less technologically-developed world (around medieval era technologically, at most), telepathy girl was abandoned in a small village at a young age. Due to her circumstances, some people tried to support her. However, her general strangeness and particularly her powers made people very uncomfortable around her, being unnerved at hearing her voice in their head. This was only made worse when people learned that she could read minds as well after the little girl, not knowing any better at the time, casually revealed and responded to thoughts others had, resulting in many distrusting and fearing her; this reputation stuck even as she grew older and learned that such things made people uncomfortable and tried to avoid it, not helped by occasional incidents such as her picking up on someone thinking something and responding before she realized, like a shopkeeper thinking that she’s planning to steal something and her hurriedly assuring him she’s not, “confirming” that she was reading their minds.

As such, she lived alone, simple food and other necessities provided for her by other villagers but otherwise caring for herself and staying away from people most of the time. (Despite most villagers fearing her or at least not liking being around her, many didn’t hate her exactly, almost none thinking that she deserved to die, and that combined with pity and morals regarding not letting people, particularly kids, starve and such led to her being given food and other necessities.) This continued even as she grew older; even before considering her physical frailty, her albinism made it unsafe for her to work outside in the sun, and the time she tried to bundle herself up heavily enough to render that not a problem she overheated and passed out, nearly getting heat stroke. Most indoor work required close proximity to other people, who would rather avoid being around her, meanwhile, thus leaving her with few to no ways to contribute and spending much of her time away from the village (in places where she wasn’t directly exposed to the sun or at night, of course).

When Nina arrived on her world, the naga encountered her some distance away from her village, likely under a tree or something. (Haven’t decided on whether Nina saw her first, wondering what that white speck down there was, or she actually failed to notice the girl until after she heard her psychic “shout” and started looking around.) At first, the girl was rather scared of her, but after Nina’s assurances that she wasn’t going to hurt her and realizing that she had finally met someone who wasn’t afraid of her for her powers (and deciding that she similarly shouldn’t judge Nina at first glance either since she knows what that’s like) she started to open up, quickly coming to appreciate having someone she could talk to, and the two became fast friends. At some point during their conversation, Nina realized that the girl’s telepathy meant that she could talk to her from inside her stomach and got very excited, explaining the world inside of her and such to her. At first the girl was (understandably) hesitant about the idea of being eaten; however, after Nina told her about how people wouldn’t hate her for her powers in there and would even appreciate her for them and that she’d be well cared-for inside her, combined with her being able to feel that Nina wasn’t lying to her or had anything but good intentions, she changed her mind and wound up willingly walking into Nina’s mouth (once the naga raised her hand to it so she could step in) and down her throat, happy at the idea of being able to stay with her new friend forever.

(Whether or not the rest of her village was eaten too, I haven’t decided; given how huge Nina is they would have seen her from a long way away, and the naga would have probably spent a while talking with the girl, so they could have had time to flee, resulting in the place being empty when Nina finally checked it out. Not sure if that, plus them never knowing what happened to telepathy girl, makes for a better story than them getting eaten too and winding up in a place where the girl they ostracized, intentionally or not, became extremely important and accepted and at least some changed their opinions on her and such.)

Inside of Nina, her powers would have likely gotten her a lot of attention, mostly positive; general idea of her story from there involves her adjusting to her new life and world, from being around people who accept her and even respect (or, in the case of those who worship Nina, revere) her and socializing more often, to stuff like living somewhere she can go “outside” whenever she wants due to there not being a sun to burn her skin and having access to much nicer and healthier food. She’d probably rise to a position of importance fairly swiftly, having to learn how to handle that and facing the difficulties it brings as well as enjoying the benefits of it, becoming more assertive and such over time and realizing that she doesn’t have to deal with every request that comes her way, eventually getting a system set up for her services and getting it so she doesn’t have random people coming to bother her all the time for her help. Also helps with various things, such as communicating with Nina to coordinate people actually being able to come back up and leave for a while (whereas before she’d likely just swallow down anyone who tried climbing her throat, not even knowing if they wanted to escape or had other intentions) and telling the naga particular things her residents needed, working to help out and improve things in her new home.

Weird Vore Stuff That Probably Won’t Happen

While these ideas probably won’t be used, between telepathy girl’s powers and my dislike of “fatal” vore, had the idea that, if she were eaten and digested, rather than dying her consciousness would continue to exist inside the body/mind of her predator and be able to communicate with them, retaining her psychic powers as well. If a friend did it, she might not even mind it, appreciating being kept safe and warm by a friend and having them care for her, basically just “riding along” and continuing as normal except for being in someone else’s body and stuff. On the other hand, if it were unwilling (such as a monster getting her or some cultist eating her as part of some weird ritual or something), she could well hijack their body, taking over and having them be the one “riding along”.

Similarly, in the rather unlikely chance she ate someone herself (a request or, again, a cult capturing her and feeding someone to her because they see her as connected to Nina somehow or something? I dunno), their consciousness would persist inside of her, and while they wouldn’t have any powers she could let them speak to other people she “connected” to mentally as well. Or even let them control her body instead if she wanted; one idea I had, where she gets eaten like in the above scenario and winds up in something like a powerful monster body or whatever, is her realizing that she could do stuff like protect people with it, but, not having the personality or experience to do that, finding someone she trusts to volunteer to let her eat them, then letting them “drive” the body instead while she lets herself be a passenger.

Again, these ideas probably won’t be used, outside maybe non-canon “what if?” stories, but I had them and felt like writing them down, so here they are.
