VERY IMPORTANT: It is highly recommended that you make a restore point before installing a previous version of WMP on modern versions of Windows. These can cause various issues within your system, such as making file transfers via USB impossible. In case you ever need to upgrade back to WMP 12, you must use the restore point you've made.
