Students will identify and describe the ideal shapes and sizes of planters for at least three different types of plants, considering their growth habits and root structures.
Students will explain the importance of drainage in planters and incorporate effective drainage features, such as holes or gravel layers, into their designs.
Students will demonstrate proficiency in at least two ceramic shaping techniques (e.g., pinch pots, coil building, wheel throwing) to create a functional planter.
Students will reflect on their creative process, identifying at least two challenges encountered during the project and articulating the strategies they used to overcome them.
Research planters/chia pets on Google, Pinterest, or any other search engine. Collect three visual examples (pictures) of your research. Upload the images to your process page. Below the pictures, explain what you like about each example on your process page. Be descriptive; no vague comments like It's cute, or I like it because it is blue.
