WHRI-ORG Appoints Shahid Karim as Senior Vice President (Karachi), Pakistan

WHRI-ORG is pleased to announce the official appointment of Mr. Shahid Karim, son of Mr. Fazal Karim, as Senior Vice President (Karachi), Pakistan, effective August 25, 2026.

In this capacity, Mr. Shahid Karim will serve as an authorized representative of WHRI-ORG in Karachi and will support the organization’s mission to protect, promote, and raise awareness of human rights in Pakistan.

His responsibilities will include:

• Promoting awareness of human rights among the public;

• Supporting individuals and communities facing human rights concerns;

• Promoting justice, equality, dignity, and non-discrimination;

• Coordinating with relevant institutions, organizations, and stakeholders;

• Reporting and documenting alleged human rights violations, where appropriate;

• Supporting the peaceful resolution of human-rights-related matters; and

• Strengthening cooperation between WHRI-ORG and relevant institutions throughout Pakistan.

Mr. Shahid Karim is expected to perform his duties with integrity, responsibility, impartiality, and commitment to the fundamental values of human rights.

WHRI-ORG extends its best wishes to Mr. Shahid Karim in his new role and looks forward to his valuable contribution to the organization’s work in Pakistan.
