By default, Google Sites provides several simple themes to choose from where you can customize simple color schemes and a few font styles. You may only choose from these options and do not have the ability to add additional fonts, font colors or options.

Theme colors can also be adjusted. This can be utilized by clicking on the paint pallet to the left of each row and selecting "Emphasis 1 or 2" You can also select the paint bucket and select a custom color, or paste your favorite hex color.
